Cove consists of two primary pieces of equipment–the hub and the alarm panel. Think of the hub as the brains of the operation, it plugs into an electrical outlet placed near your router. Using an ethernet cable, you connect the hub to the router, establishing an internet connection to the monitoring station to ensure a stable connection.
The easy-to-install, touchscreen panel mounts on the wall or sits on flat surfaces propped up like a picture frame. You can place up to four touchscreen alarm panels throughout your home wherever they are most convenient for you.
Through your panel, you can view your system status, arm and disarm your system, add users, and view live footage (Cove is currently the only DIY security company to offer this feature).
